A hybrid lecture “Images of the Gospels, through Ethiopian and European Eyes – the Evangelium arabicumas vorlage for an Ethiopian tetraevangelium. An example of the new Gondärine style of painting in Ethiopia in the 17th century” by Dr Dorothea McEwan will take place at the Warburg Institute on 23 May 2023, 5:30 – 7:30PM BST.
