Anna Wojtyś, Associate Professor (dr hab.) at the Institute of English Studies, Faculty of Modern Languages, University of Warsaw. Her research covers the period from Old to Early Modern English. She is mostly interested in the changes that took place in English: morphological, phonological, lexical and semantic. She has written numerous articles on those issues and published two monographs on the history of English moprhology. She is the author of the first Polish translation of Shakespeare and Fletcher’s play The Two Noble Kinsmen (2017).
She works both with manuscripts and electronic text corpora. She is currently finishing the first Polish translation of Chaucer’s A Treatise on the Astrolabe.
