1. The Medici Archive Project is pleased to announce the dates for the upcoming 2022 Summer Seminars in Paleography and Archival Studies which will take place in Florence on 20-25 June 2022 and 27 June – 2 July 2022. 2. The Institute for Digital Humanitities at the University of Göttingen, with generous support from the Volkswagen Foundation, is pleased to announce its inaugural international Digital Palaeography Summer School on 1-12 August 2022. 3. The Digital Humanities Oxford Summer School 2022 offers a range of events at Keble College, Oxford, from 11-15 July, with morning lectures and afternoon interactive workshops. The morning sessions will be also be live-streamed in a virtual strand of the Summer School, for those unable to attend in person. 4. University of Antwerp offers the following courses:
5. Diagnosis in Heritage Science: 4. Focus on Wood and Paper at the University of Piza. The Summer School includes a program of multi-disciplinary studies within one week. The School will be held at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Pisa, and is designed to train graduated students (Master’s degree), in particular PhD students, with interests in Heritage Science. 7. Scriptorium Brunense – workshops in English and Czech opened to students and graduates in historical sciences at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk Univerzity (27 June – 1 July 2022). Registration for the programme is open until 10 June. For more information see: Scriptorium Brunense.
8. School of Advanced Study University of London offers two summer courses: LIPS Insular Palaeography, June 6 and LIPS Bilingual Manuscripts in England c. 950-1200 (June 6-7).
9. The University of Veliko Tarnovo extends an invitation to The History of Science in the Medieval World on 18-22 July. Classes will be held on-site and online. Registration is open until 29 April. For more information, see Medieval Art Research.
