A webinar on the themes of Chaucer Here and Now will take place on Thursday 14 March 2024 at 5pm–6pm GMT (6pm-7pm CET) via Zoom. Professor Marion Turner will talk about manuscripts and printed books from the fifteenth century to the twenty-first and discuss some of the ways in which readers of Chaucer have responded to and reimagined Chaucer’s works. The webinar will feature some of the Bodleian’s treasures shown under the visualiser. This event takes place online via Zoom. Tickets are free, and booking is required via Bodleian Library events.
We kindly invite you to a 6-part seminar series devoted to Psalms in the first half of 2024. This series continues from where the 2023 series left off. The format will be a 60-minute lecture followed by a 30-minute discussion. These events are free and open to all, but registration is required (either via the QR code on the poster below or the registration form at Nanovic Institute events). Research Group for the Study of Manuscripts SIGLUM extends an invitation to an online lecture (in Polish) on manuscripts and picture writings from pre-Spanish Mexico “Księgi dni – manuskrypty dywinacyjne z przedhiszpańskiego środkowego Meksyku“.
