SIGLUM

Krystyna Jarosławska – a graduate of the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw; she is currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of History, University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on the history of the Teutonic Order in Prussia; she explores German and Latin manuscripts from the chancery of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order (e.g. correspondence and privileges) and other documents related to the history of the Teutonic Order in Prussia. Most sources she explores are housed in Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. She specializes in IT humanities and information technology for the editing of primary sources (TEI, INDXR, Transkribus). Since 2018 she has participated in a Polish-German Science Foundation project working on an inventory of German manuscripts in the Special Collections at the Warsaw University Library.
