Zofia Załęska – PhD student at the Institute of Art History, University of Warsaw; art historian. She is writing her doctoral thesis on dance scenes drawn on the margins of late medieval manuscripts (thesis supervisor: prof. Antoni Ziemba). In her research, she concentrates on the history and iconography of dance and the relation between marginal images and texts represented in manuscripts. She is also interested in the manifold aspects of medieval European culture and a multidisciplinary approach to cultural studies.
