Two 15th-century treatises on Regimen Sanitatis from the Special Collections of the National Library in Warsaw, and their relation to two other treatises from the University Library in Heidelberg

This project focuses on a comparative analysis of four pharmacological-medical treatises known as Regimina Sanitatis. Two of these manuscripts are held in the National Library of Poland in Warsaw and originate from the former Załuski Library (MS 4459 III, and MS 4475 II), while the other two are held at the University Library in Heidelberg (MS Cod. Sal. IX 53 and MS Cpg. 592). The project aims to examine the interrelationships between these treatises and to define the characteristics of regimen sanitatis as a textual genre on both a macro- and microstructural level.
