Mateusz Franciszek Marszałkowski, Assistant Professor

Mateusz Franciszek Marszałkowski, PhD in Arts Studies, assistant professor at the Institute for the History of Science, Polish Academy of Sciences (Old and Rare Book Studies Research Unit); art historian, codicologist. His academic interests focus on medieval Latin illuminated manuscripts with special reference to the pen-flourish (penwork). He is a member of the manuscripta.pl research group. His publications, so far, are related mainly to the manuscripts from the Diocesan Library in Pelplin and the local Cistercian scriptorium.
